Dude you remind me so much of my cousin. Unfortunately he died from cancer 8 years ago. We were close and both were Deputy Sheriff's on the same department. I retired 6 years ago and still train as much as i can but it's hard to do on a fixed income.

I personally would not have heavy objects, i.e. the jack inside the cab. In severe accident rollover the jack is going to go flying. I would recommend a box for the bed of the truck or a cover. IMO

I love the set up! But as I think too much I set mine a little different. As I own 2 EoTechs, my do all (per say) is my 14.5 KAC w/ my 1x10 Vortex. I went with an lvpo because I need an etched reticle if I don't have batteries. Also, my Vortex has a red dot also for faster aiming solutions. As i shoot more unsuppressed I do have a Nomad L for it. Yes, it is big as AF but it is almost TV quiet and hearing safe. If I take a shot a 400 yrds you would not hear where it let alone know where it came from. I absolutely love it. #endofdays

i just got an lpvo not vudu but black spider and when i turn my throw handle to zoom in the reticle inside turns alittle bit with it is that normal or do i have a bad scope? i also could not get it to zero!

For precise shooting red works better for me with a 2 moa dot mostly because it’s not as bright. Much quicker pickup with green 32 moa circle with 3 moa dot, that’s the ideal for me even in the green northwest.

i also carry a milwaukee 18v impact wrench to make it fast and easy to change tires ,especially if u have to do it in a hurry. i also carry jumper cables but ur not always gonna have someone to help so i carry a small jump box from noco. fits in the glove box nicely.
